Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. . .

How does your garden grow? Apparently very well these days. I wanted to share these pictures with all of you 1. because I've never had such nice flowers and 2. to show off John's handy work in the front yard. Hard to believe only six months ago the mighty oaks had fallen (i.e. we paid a huge chunk of change to have them removed before they crushed our house. . . please see earlier blog entry for full story).

I'm particularly pleased with the Asiatic Lillies, the rose bush and as I said John's new landscaped area (trees and shrubs in center of yard). It needs some color, but it looks so clean. I love it! (P.S. - You can also see more of John's handy work in the background, check out my NEW WINDOWS!!! Best investment we've made and he did a fantastic job with them)
