Wacky words and phrases

I was recently schooled in the finer art of "pell-mell" by my friend Debbie, and it got me thinking. . . how many other unusual sayings are out there that I don't know about? Things like "red up your room", which is a favored saying in Pennsylvania, which means to "clean up your room". Anyway, if you have an unusual saying please share it with me and I'll do a follow up post on what I've learned.
