Well this is basically the "finished" product. John put the seal on the grout yesterday and put up the chair rail, so now it's all up to me to find time to paint the trim (ugh!) and that'll wrap up this project. Not bad. We started just before Thanksgiving and in about two months time we've completely renovated this room. (Don't you like how I say "we". . . it was mostly John. . . I supervised, painted and offered various unwanted comments and advice, which was typically ignored.) Nonetheless, here it is, a throne room fit for a king or queen, whatever your preference.
I've got a "before" picture that I'll put up soon once I get an "after" picture at a similar angle. I just can't hardly believe this is the same room.
