Yet another project

HOORAY! We are finally, and by "we" I mean John, putting up the siding today!!! Again as you may recall from a previous post, in the Spring John put new windows in the front of the house (i.e. living room and dining room area). In doing so he removed the lower windows from the front of the house, which were then boarded up and thus needed siding. Below are some pictures of his progress today. He's doing an awesome job considering the poor guy has to do it all pretty much himself. O.K., I held a tape measure for him, but so far that's been the extent of my assistance. I've learned from past experience that unless he asks for me to come play "Heidi" to his "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" it is best to steer clear. So the boys and I are watching from the sidelines today.

I'll post more when all is complete. Don't ya love the color? I think it is called "Stone Mountain Clay". . . sort of a beige-y gray. Love it!
