"It's never too late to be who you might have been" - George Eliot aka Mary Anne Evans.
I heard this quote recently and it has REALLY stuck with me. As you, my faithful readers, are aware, I will soon be returning to school, to "be who I might have been", which is a college graduate. I'm so very excited about this opportunity to finish my education. It's something that, until recently, I didn't know bothered me so much. It's not that I feel I MUST have the degree to be "someone" or to somehow define myself, but rather to gain a sense of completion. To rest easy knowing I have done all I could do to reach my goals, and that I haven't wasted thousands of dollars on an education, for which I have nothing to show.
So I am sharing this quote with all of you in the hopes that it will inspire everyone out there to go after that "one thing" that will make you happy. To achieve an unrealized dream.
;-)
