Can I just say in some respects Chuck E. Cheese is a godsend, and in others it is merely the work of the devil?!?!?! When we first got there it was great, but by the time all the neighborhood hoodlums showed up (and there was literally a line out the door for people to get in) I was ready to ESCAPE. What a nightmare of a place it becomes when packed to capacity. And can I just give a piece of advice, take it for what it is worth. . . if this is your child's FIRST birthday DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A PARTY AT CHUCK E. CHEESE. They don't get it and it's a waste of money and time, but again, this is just my opinion. Johnathan, however, being a big two year old COMPLETELY enjoyed himself, and thank goodness John was there to take him and Jacob around. . . I would have lost my mind.

Next year? Maybe just something quiet at home, or something a bit more low key. I know he loved it, but by the time we got home EVERYONE needed a nap, especially me and John, LOL!
