All Around the Town - Part II



Here are some pictures of the Venango County Courthouse, which is at the center of town and essentially divides the two parks (i.e. fountain park and bandstand park). It was erected in 1866 during the oil boom of the region. The only other courthouses I've seen that rival this one is the one in Mercer County and one in Warren County, both of which are also located in Pennsylvania. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.
