Just another day in paradise. . .

We had a pretty rough night last night (and morning). . .

Jacob had me up at 1 a.m. and unfortunately I let him stay with me in my bed, and neither one of us got any good sleep. Then Johnathan was up around 4:30 a.m. which woke up Jacob so by 5:00 we were all up and I had one heck of time getting the two of them ready this morning and me. They were into EVERYTHING. Baby keeps trying to rip the doorbell thingy out of the wall outlet. I tried putting him in the exersaucer but he cried. Then Jacob was getting into the garbage because he wanted the bag the diapers came in because there was a picture of Cars on it. Then he (Jacob, yes, Jacob) got stuck in the exersaucer. Then I noticed baby had drooled so much his clothes were soaked so I had to get him a new outfit. Finally, we are almost ready to leave when I remember that neither of them has had their cold/allergy medicine, so I had to literally chase Jacob from the kitchen to a corner in his room to give him his medicine and then Johnathan has to practically be put in a headlock and you have to squirt the medicine down the back of his throat so he doesn't spit it out. Did I mention that during all of this I had to get a shower, iron my clothes, dry my hair and brush my teeth, all of which I did but only have a foggy memory of accomplishing those things.

I was tearing my hair out by the time we left. I didn't even make it to work until 8:30. . . ask me if I care.

Oh, and I had to change 3 poopy diapers before we could even leave the house this morning??? Baby one, Jacob two. (I think the children are secretly trying to take over the house by driving me insane. )

Calgon Take me AWAY!!!!
