O.K. so Thursday is D-Day or in this case E-Day as in Ears. Jacob has his follow up check up where they will re-test his ears. I'm completely convinced all will be well, but I have a sneaky feeling we are still going to have to get him some speech therapy.
I'm COMPLETELY amazed at the difference in my kid in just 2 weeks. A lot of words have become much clearer and he answers in more complete sentences. He asks questions and interacts more. It's like a whole new boy. I feel like a horrible parent for not getting the tubes sooner. If I had followed my gut I would have done it around the 18 month mark. I just can't imagine what he's had to put up with until now.
So Thursday I shall blog again and give you all the latest on Jacob.
