I just realized I left you all hanging in suspense. . . Jacob is doing GREAT. We go back in early December for a follow up, but his tubes look good and he is DEFINITELY hearing much better. He still doesn't always "listen", but he's three, so what can you do?!?! Now at least I know he hears me, whether or not he wants to acknowledge what I am saying is another story all together.
I can't tell you all what a blessing it has been that my child can hear. I can talk to him and have conversations with him now like never before. I feel like this surgery sort of brought him back to us. It's weird and as time passes I am seeing what we were all missing. It just makes me so grateful to see him well and becoming a whole person. My sweet little man.
