New Year full of resolutions

So we've officially rung in the new year and on my plate I have a number of things, but unfortunately food is not one of them :-( I've thrown my $20 bucks on the table with some other lovely ladies in a "mano y mano" belly battle. . . i.e. our version of the Biggest Loser. The winner gets the pot o' gold and Debbie (one of our lovely participants) is going to prepare a celebratory meal for us all in the end. Only bad news. . . I live here and they live "there". We are about a 5 hour drive apart, so now I might have to figure out if I can make a trip up to Debbie's for this dinner and to collect my winnings. (mmou-hoo-hoo-ha-ha-ha "sinister laughter")
